Jan Roelfs

Jan Roelfs is a journalist, reporter and sports commentator with NOS Sport. He was team manager and communications advisor on Guus Hiddink’s coaching team when the Achterhoeker was national coach of South Korea at the 2002 World Cup.

A Political Science International Relations major, Jan Roelfs briefly worked at the communications firm Hill & Knowlton but chose sports journalism. In addition, he has never let go of the business world. In workshops and lectures at numerous companies in the Netherlands and abroad after the 2002 World Cup, he emerged as an inspirer and expert on cultural differences within international business.

In his role as a journalist, he has interviewed top athletes such as Roger Federer, Pele, Johan Cruijff, Rafael Nadal, Arsene Wenger. Jan lived in Seoul, New York, Amman and Rio de Janeiro and as a (guest) trainer and communications consultant is internationally educated, sharp and constructive at the same time. A true team player who wants to get the best out of himself and above all the best out of the people and organizations he works with.
