Media and presentation training

Media Training

Our media training is above all very practical. We prefer to work in small groups or individually: being interviewed frequently and doing a lot. All interviews we do are recorded and watched back. We cover the television and radio interview, the telephone interview, interviews for print media and social media, as well as crisis communication and PR interview. We show and experience the differences between live and recorded interviews. You will gain insight into your method of communication: your use of voice, non-verbal communication and word usage.

We’ll teach you how to convey a clear message, and you’ll find out that it doesn’t depend on the questions asked. You will gain insight into how journalists work, why they ask what and how to respond. You will learn when you are in danger of falling into a trap and how to tell your real story.

Presentation Training

We guide different types of presentations, because a speech at a conference, for example, is really different from a pitch or an internal presentation to colleagues. However, there are many similarities. Here, as with a performance in the media, how do you convey a clear message to your audience? But because your listeners are live, it is especially important how you connect with your audience. We teach you the do’s and dont’s but above all how to make a presentation that is close to yourself, where you feel comfortable. We give tips on content, non verbal communication, emotion and persuasiveness.

Pitch training

A pitch is often an exciting moment because you really feel like you are playing a final: this is your chance and the product or yourself must be sold now. That pressure makes a sales pitch more exciting than other communication moments. It is true that you have to show it all at once, but it is also true that you are actually doing nothing more than having a good conversation with the goal of making the optimal connection with the potential customer. In this training we will show you how to find the right balance between: really wanting to sell something and relaxed showing that the customer must have just you. You also learn to pick up signals from the other person, listen well and be alert to non verbal communication.

At the Green Exit, on the edge of the heath and near the A1 exit, we hold office. An inspiring location, with all attention to nature, sustainability and recycling, but above all it is also a meeting place.

The Green Exit is a project of former advertising executive Lucas Mol.
