Elsemieke Havenga

Elsemieke Havenga is a communications expert and executive coach. ‘For years I have been advising organizations and people to tell the right story. In addition, communication plays an important role in my coaching. Especially when it comes to making teams more successful, you have to be able to (learn to) communicate well with each other.

It’s been a long time, but my field hockey career, in which I became four times world champion and won gold as the first Dutch field hockey team at the Los Angeles Olympics in 1984, has been decisive for the rest of my life. All the lessons of sports, which are now known to a wide audience, I take with me to this day: How can you be successful together? In order to better understand what drives someone, I have certified myself as a Management Drives coach.

Before I started working as a communications consultant, I ended up in journalism via sport. I presented various radio and television programmes at the public broadcasting company and later at RTL, where I presented RTL News and Editie NL.

I work together with different trainers and coaches and look at what and who is needed to fulfill our assignment optimally. Organizations we work for include Deloitte, Insinger Gilissen, Schiphol Group, Zelfstroom, GGZ, Metacorp and Vopak. We have been working with many of them for a long time.

Besides business, I am a board member of ‘Spieren voor Spieren’, chairman of the Sports Council of the municipality of Laren and a member of the Supervisory Board of the Royal Dutch Football Association. Before that, I have devoted myself, among other things, to underprivileged girls through the presidency of the Supervisory Board of Plan International Netherlands.

Marieke Pol

Marieke Pol

If you need someone who can take a project from start to finish you need to be with Marieke. She likes to call herself a connector, jack-of-all-trades and spider in the web, but when you say that, it’s as if you can do a bit of a lot. Marieke can do a lot but not a little! She is very good at setting up a project and delivering it sublimely within the agreed time (and budget). In the meantime, she has been able to engage people along the way and help them become more successful. She likes to call herself a connector, a jack-of-all-trades and a spider in a web.

Marieke has a great affinity with sports, exercise and the social domain. She was sports formateur at the municipalities of Hilversum, Weesp, Laren, Blaricum and Eemnes responsible for implementing the Local Sports Agreement, recently she was coordinator for the prevention-agreement for the region Gooi and Vechtstreek.

Marieke Pol is also a process supervisor for various projects, and as a coach she is specialized in career coaching both at individual and group level and she is a SCRUM master for project management.
